Hall Green Greyhound Stadium

Hall Green has a past association with horse racing and had several tracks in the area, none of which have survived. However, Hall Green stadium first opened its doors to Greyhound racing on Wednesday 4th August 1927 and race meetings continue to this day.

Hall Green is one of 6 tracks owned by the GRA group who pride themselves on producing some of the top Greyhound Racing and trackside dining facilities in the United Kingdom. Hall Green was awarded the prestigious title of William Hill and the British Greyhound Racing Board "West Midlands and Western Region racecourse of the year" in 2002.

The BGRB and William Hill look at all the Greyhound Tracks throughout the UK and reward each one merit points on all of their facilities and their racing. However, not only did Hall Green take the regional award they also took the top award of Top Greyhound Racing Track in the UK beating 36 other tracks.
