The Society looks forward to welcoming members and non members on Tuesday 18 September to an interesting talk entitled "Marry monarchs Part I" by Mary Bodfish where we will learn more about the follies and foibles of Monarchs from William I to Richard III.

The Society looks forward to welcoming members and non members on Tuesday 16 October to an interesting talk about St Mary's Acocks Green by Mike Byrne who will tell tales of murder, mayhem and misadventure.

The Society looks forward to welcoming members and non members on Tuesday 22 January to start the new year with an interesting talk from Rachel West about Moor Pool Garden Suburb, the enchanting suburb of Harbourne.

The Society looks forward to welcoming members and non members on Tuesday 19 February for an interesting talk charting the history of the Lickey Hills on the border with Worcestershire.

The Society looks forward to welcoming members and non members on Tuesday 19 March for an interesting talk on Isambard Kingdom Brunel by Ray Sturdy where we will hear about this Victorian genius.

16 April 2019 - Murder at Weatheroak Hill - Andy Bishop...

The Society looks forward to welcoming members and non members on Tuesday 16 April when Andy Bishop will give an interesting account of life as a Victorian Bobby and a gruesome tale of murder.

21 May 2019 - Outing: To be arranged...

The Society looks forward to welcoming members and non members on Tuesday 21 May for our annual outing.

18 June 2019 - Annual General Meeting...

This year the AGM will take place on Tuesday 18 June at Hall Green Baptist Church and marks the end of the Societies 2018-19 programme of events.

 

The society looks forward to welcoming its members to the meeting where, amongst other things, the programme of events for 2019-20 will be discussed, the committee elected by the members and the finances of the society outlined by the treasurer.

 

After the AGM there will be a talk to be arranged.

All events take place at Hall Green Baptist Church unless stated otherwise
