About Us

Hall Green Local History Society

The Hall Green Local History Society was founded on 14th November 1969 by a group of like-minded friends at South Birmingham College.  The society has continued to attract people from the local area who have an interest in history and meeting people.

We have at least eight guest speakers on our calendar covering a range of interesting subjects about the local area, Birmingham and Warwickshire.

We are a social society and keenly welcome anyone with an interest in Hall Green and meeting new people.

Meetings are held at Hall Green Baptist Church Stratford Rd, opposite the Library, on the third Tuesday of the month from September to June starting at 7:30 pm (doors open 7:00 pm).

Coffee, tea and biscuits are available during the evening.

The membership fee is £12 per year and £1 per meeting.  Non-members are welcome for £3 per visit.

All membership enquiries should be directed to the secretary on 0121 777 2276 or you can attend a meeting and join on the night.
